As set forth in more detail below, through our partner Clover Environmental Solutions, ("We”) collect personal information that you provide when you register on the MaxCartrideRewards website ("Site"). This information includes your OfficeMax account number, first and last name, email address, phone number and a password when you create your rewards account. We may ask you to confirm your personal information when you contact our Customer Service department. This will allow us to protect your confidentiality by verifying your identity.

When you order recycling supplies from MaxCartridgeRewards, we collect information that allows us to ship your order. This includes the name, address and phone number of the intended recipient(s).

Payment for Recycled Items

Credits will be awarded to the Business by Clover Environmental Solutions (CES) and credited to Your account based upon the values established by the CES for the Products. Values are established by CES and are published on The amount that will be credited to your account is the published value for your Product(s) in effect at the time your Product(s) are processed by CES, not the price published at the time You sent the box to CES.

Credits will issued by the 15th of each month in the form of a check from CES when the value of the credits in Your account reaches twenty five ($25.00). Lost or stolen checks will not be reissued. You and/or Your Business are responsible for taxes, charges or other liabilities related to or resulting from participation in the Program.

Recycling accounts will remain active as long as the CES receives not less than one (1) qualifying Product from You in the latest 12-month period. If You do not send at least one qualifying Product to CES within any 12-month period, CES has the right to classify Your account as inactive and to deactivate or eliminate the balance of credits in Your account.

How to Decide What Marketing Communications You Receive from Us

We reserve the right to send you certain communications or other forms of marketing communications. You can choose to stop receiving any marketing emails from us at any time by sending an email to

The only email messages you will receive from MaxCartridgeRewards when you elect to not receive marketing communications will be to:

  • Confirm any orders you make on this Site
  • Let you know your order has been shipped
  • Share other information about your order
